Mia Yim made her shock return to IMPACT Wrestling over the weekend, with the former Knockouts Champion appearing at Under Siege to confront Deonna Purrazzo.

It was initially reported that Yim had signed a full-time deal with IMPACT, but now a report from Fightful Select suggests that it is only a short-term deal, with the former Dollhouse member believed to have only signed a six-month deal for now, with both parties said to be open to extending beyond this.

Since her WWE release in November 2021, Yim has only wrestled twice, taking on Athena (fka Ember Moon) and Janai Kai on the independent scene.

Regardless of contract length, Yim’s return to IMPACT bolsters what is already a very strong women’s division, with a feud with Purrazzo a likely option out of the gate.

Yim last wrestled for TNA/IMPACT from 2015 to 2017, where she won the TNA Knockouts World Championship, the Queen of the Knockouts 2016 gauntlet, and the 2016 TNA World Cup. After leaving TNA/IMPACT, Yim wrestled in the WWE Mae Young Classic, before signing with NXT in September 2017.
