Report: Update On Omos' WWE Status

What is going on with Omos?

While Omos was on the receiving end of a push under Vince McMahon's regime, that has not been the case since Triple H was installed as head of creative and The Nigerian Giant has been absent from Monday Night Raw in recent weeks, last appearing on the show on July 18.

In an update, Fightful Select reported that Omos is still on the road with WWE but he finds himself in a similar situation to several others in that he is waiting to find out the new leadership team's creative plans for him. Several have had meetings with Triple H about upcoming plans but if Omos is one of them is currently unknown.

While he has not appeared on Raw, Omos was in action at the August 1 Main Event taping, defeating Ezekiel.

Omos was seemingly one of Vince McMahon's pet projects over the past two years and The Nigerian Giant first achieved success with AJ Styles, holding the Raw Tag Team Championships before Omos became a singles talent. The former basketball player then began a feud with Bobby Lashley and was paired with MVP but he ultimately ended up on the losing side in his rivalry with the two-time WWE Champion.

Another WWE talent in Lacey Evans finds herself in a similar situation to Omos and it has been reported that the company currently have no plans for her
