Report: Update On Plans For ROH Supercard Of Honor XV

The plans for ROH Supercard of Honor XV have been under speculation

We are less than a month away from Ring of Honor’s return PPV Supercard of Honor XV, but with Tony Khan’s purchase of ROH, plans for the show are up in the air.

Previously, it was announced that the show will be headlined by Classic ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham and ROH World Champion Bandido in a title unification match, but according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, everything else has reportedly been scrapped:

“All plans previous are off and Khan will be handling the creative, but they are not looking at starting from scratch and eliminating champions and such or killing prior storylines. The belief right now is ROH champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Bandido, who never lost the title in the ring but was stripped after testing positive for COVID just before the Final Battle PPV in December, will headline. But Khan would have to sign off on that,” wrote Meltzer.

Previously, ROH World Tag team Champions The Briscoes were scheduled to defend the titles against an unnamed opponent - possibly FTR - whilst elsewhere Swerve Scott was set to take on Alex Zayne, whilst Joe Hendry and Ninja Mack were to appear in separate singles bouts against unnamed opponents.
