Report: Update On Possible CM Punk Vs. Jay White AEW Feud

Update on a reported potential CM Punk vs. Jay White feud in AEW

With CM Punk’s return to All Elite Wrestling officially confirmed, talk has shifted as to what Punk will be doing when he returns at AEW Collision on June 17.

Reports have suggested that Punk could revisit his feud with Chris Jericho from 2012, whilst there is the potential for Punk and Samoa Joe to run it back, with a long-awaited Punk vs. Joe IV match a possibility. More recent reports suggested that Punk had ‘taken a liking’ to Jay White’s work, and a follow-up from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp suggests the most recent ideas have revolved around Punk working with White and Bullet Club Gold.

In recent weeks, White and ‘Bang Bang Gang’ teammate Juice Robinson have tangled with FTR and Ricky Starks, with a potential third member of Bullet Club Gold set to join the fray. FTR have been positioned as allies of Punk on AEW TV in the past - and are notably close with Punk in real life - and Sapp suggests that a six-man feud pitting Punk and FTR vs. Bullet Club Gold is being talked about.

Punk last wrestled at AEW All Out in September 2022.
