Report: Update On Possible Legal Action Following AEW Backstage Fight

Has legal action been taken?

Following the backstage fight between The Elite, CM Punk, and Ace Steel after Punk's incendiary post-All Out media scrum, there were rumours that the parties could take legal action against each other or All Elite Wrestling.

No legal action has been taken against any of those involved in the backstage brawl or All Elite Wrestling as of yet, though, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported.

"As far as I know, there isn't [litigation], but that doesn't mean that there won't be. I suppose it's possible on the other side too, but I have not heard that. I mean, the key to this is so much of the stuff has not come out and I don't know that it ever will, but I know that there's certain things that people want to come out that haven't come out because everyone is essentially banned from talking about it that is involved," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Punk's AEW future is in doubt and he and the promotion are reportedly in talks over a contract buyout. The Elite, meanwhile, appear to be on their way back to AEW. Ace Steel was released.
