Report: Update On Rey Fenix's Recovery Following AEW Dynamite Injury

Fenix injured his arm early January

Rey Fenix hasn’t been seen on AEW television since January 5 after suffering a horrific looking arm injury during a tag title match against Jurassic Express on Dynamite.

Landing awkwardly after an apron chokeslam through a table, many thought Fenix had shattered his arm, but miraculously came away with little more than a dislocation.

Now, a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that Fenix could be back in a ring in the next month or so, writing the following when previewing the upcoming AAA Rey de Reyes show:

“Fenix is about a month away from being able to return and do a match although he has gotten better and his arm is out of the sling, nothing is official but it looks like Pentagon vs. Dralistico in a singles match.”

A one-time AEW World Tag team Champion, Fenix and brother Penta El Zero Miedo are two of the biggest stars in the company, with Fenix widely regarded as one of the greatest in-ring performers on the planet.
