Report: Update On Rob Van Dam's AEW Future Following Debut

How long will Rob Van Dam be with AEW?

For the first time in three years, Rob Van Dam is set to wrestle on a pro wrestling TV show as the Whole F'N Show made his All Elite Wrestling debut during the August 2 episode of Dynamite.

RVD made his debut during the face-to-face between Jack Perry and Jerry Lynn, with Perry currently disparaging former FTW Champions and Extreme Championship Wrestling on TV. Van Dam made his way to the ring to Pantera's 'Walk' and he almost hit Perry with a Van Daminator before the former Jungle Boy just managed to escape.

Van Dam is scheduled to make his AEW in-ring debut next week when he faces Perry in an FTW Rules Match on the August 9 edition of Dynamite. Reports ahead of Dynamite had indicated Perry vs. RVD was under discussion for All In but it appears Van Dam won't be wrestling at the Wembley Stadium show. PWInsider has stated that Van Dam is currently only slated for one match with Jack Perry.

Instead, it appears Van Dam is still close with WWE as he is being advertised as part of the company's WrestleMania 40 weekend packages. Van Dam, of course, is a former WWE Champion and he is a WWE Hall of Famer.
