Report: Update On Sasha Banks & Naomi's WWE Suspension

Sasha Banks and Naomi have been away from WWE since they walked out of the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw and the former Women's Tag Team Champions don't look set to return anytime soon.

WWE suspended Banks and Naomi indefinitely after they walked out and the company stripped them of the Women's Tag Team Titles. Since then, there has been little to no communication between the tag team and WWE, according to Fightful Select, and WWE have cancelled travel plans the organisation had for Banks and Naomi. 

If WWE have frozen Banks and Naomi's contracts is still unclear but Fightful noted a higher up in WWE said they don't think their contracts could be frozen if the talents were not being paid. 

Following the Women's Tag Team Titles being vacated, WWE initially announced a tournament would be held to crown new champions but that plan appears to be dead. Several within the company reportedly didn't want the titles to be vacated but that quickly became the option WWE needed to take.
