WWE NXT Women's Breakout Tournament Final Moved To Next Week

The final was supposed to take place on last night's show

The final of the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament will now take place next week, following the NXT In Your House premium live event on Saturday, June 4.

Tournament finalist Roxanne Perez noted during a promo on last night's show that the final between her and Tiffany Stratton would take place on next week's show. The final had originally been announced for last night's show, but a preview for it was removed from WWE.com prior to the show starting.

Last night's show featured some final promotion for the tournament final, with Perez's promo mentioning her dream of becoming a WWE Superstar as well as her training at Booker T's Reality of Wrestling school.

In a video that aired later, Stratton claimed that the tournament originally not featuring her (she replaced an injured Nikita Lyons in the semi-finals) was an injustice and that Perez could cry on her friend Cora Jade's shoulder after Stratton wins and signs a contract.

WWE have already held two NXT Breakout Tournaments. Jordan Myles (AKA ACH) won the first tournament in 2019, while Carmelo Hayes emerged victorious in 2021.
