Report: Update On The Briscoes' IMPACT Wrestling Status

Have the Briscoes signed with IMPACT?

PWInsider have provided an update on the status of The Briscoes following Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view.

The site have clarified that the team are not signed by the company, after several readers reached out to inquire about their status.

This comes after The Briscoes defended the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships at Slammiversary. Many expected Jay and Mark to retain the titles but they ultimately ended up dropping the gold to The Good Brothers.

The Briscoes returned to IMPACT Wrestling at the promotion's Multiverse Of Matches event on April 1 over WrestleMania weekend. They then became full-time members of the IMPACT roster later that month and won the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles from Violent By Design at Under Siege.

Though not signed to a contract, The Briscoes worked the post-Slammiversary television tapings, teaming with 'Cowboy' James Storm in a match against Honor No More's Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett.

Prior to their IMPACT return, The Briscoes had been signed with Ring Of Honor for many years and they are 12-time ROH World Tag Team Champions.
