Report: Update On Thunder Rosa's AEW Status

Following the NWA's return

After over a year away because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Wrestling Alliance returned to GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend for the Back For The Attack pay-per-view and Powerrr tapings.

The roster has gone through a number of changes since the last set of Powerrr tapings, but one of the constants is Thunder Rosa. La Mera Mera faced off against Kamille in a number one contender's match at the pay-per-view, but she ultimately came up short. She then appeared on last night's edition of Powerrr and rejected Melina's help in her pursuit of the NWA World Women's Championship.

During the NWA's hiatus, Thunder Rosa made regular appearances in All Elite Wrestling and she has been established as one of the top women in the division, competing against the likes of Hikaru Shida, Nyla Rose, Serena Deeb and Britt Baker.

Despite her home promotion's full-time return, those appearances will continue and she is in Jacksonville, Florida for AEW: Dynamite and Dark tapings, according to Fightful Select.
