Report: Update On Triple H Being Underwhelmed By WWE Talents He Re-Signed
Reports suggested Triple H had been left underwhelmed by rehired WWE talents

When Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque was instated as WWE Chief Content Officer in Summer 2022, he sought to right several wrongs from the tail-end of Vince McMahon’s time in charge of WWE creative, including the rehiring of several talents.
Recently reports emerged suggesting that Triple H was left ‘underwhelmed’ by some of these rehires, but a new report from Fightful Select suggests that if this is indeed how Triple H is feeling then it is being severely downplayed by WWE.
A source from WWE told Fightful that no recent rehire was ever intended to instantly ascend to the top of the card, with the rehires addressing issues of roster depth in WWE rather than out-and-out star power. Another source corroborated this, saying that this rehire drive was a long term plan with WWE hoping the acts in question will grow in stature and get over little-by-little as time progresses. The report even suggests that some of the rehires in question were told when they were brought back in that roster depth was an important part of their rehiring.
The likes of Bray Wyatt, Karrion Kross, Hit Row, Johnny Gargano, and Bronson Reed have been rehired by Triple H, with the performances of Gargano and Reed in the recent Elimination Chamber match reportedly an example of two talents "showing their value when given an opportunity."
