While Triple H (Paul Levesque) may have said he was "back" during a recent speech at the WWE Performance Center, The Game's comments seemingly did not apply to NXT.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that NXT creative still answers to Bruce Prichard, while Shawn Michaels is still overseeing the developmental brand. Johnny Russo also remains the head writer and he works alongside other writers in Nick Bonnano and George Carroll.

Triple H was previously the head of NXT, running the brand with the likes of Road Dogg, William Regal, and Samoa Joe until Levesque suffered from heart issues in September of 2021. The developmental brand has been revamped since then, with NXT placing an emphasis on new talents like Bron Breakker, Tony D'Angelo, Grayson Waller, Cora Jade, and Roxanne Perez. Road Dogg, Regal, and Joe were also let go in early 2022.

What exactly Triple H meant when he said he was "back" is still unknown then beyond that the 52-year-old appears to have more power in WWE.
