WWE's Royal Rumble could be heading to Florida
When it comes to WWE’s big events such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, dates and locations are announced fairly far in advance to capitalise on sales, buzz, and build. It looks as though the details surrounding the 2024 edition of the Royal Rumble could well be announced soon per a report from PWInsider Elite.
“In recent months, there's been a lot of speculation about the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble coming to Orlando, but there has yet to be an announcement. Another potential destination for the WWE cornerstone event has been discussed internally in recent days in the company, PWInsiderElite.com has learned - Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, which would be the Tampa market. WWE held a Rumble PPV there during the Thunderdome era without fans in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, stay tuned, as we are told WWE are finalizing their Rumble plans relatively soon.”
Last year’s Royal Rumble event saw Rumble victories from both Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley, and the notable moment in which Sami Zayn turned on Roman Reigns and left The Bloodline.
