Report: Update On WWE's Plans For Rhea Ripley

Reported update on Rhea Ripley’s next moves in WWE

Rhea Ripley is currently flying high in WWE, with the SmackDown Women’s Champion one of the most popular stars in the company due to her run in Judgment Day.

Recent reports have suggested that Ripley could be set to receive a new championship belt after Asuka was presented the new WWE Women’s Championship on the June 9 edition of SmackDown. That’s not all, though, as further reports suggest that WWE have major plans in store for Ripley going forward.

Per a report from Better Wrestling Experience, Ripley is set to engage in some inter-gender wrestling in WWE, a move which has reportedly long been on the cards for Ripley.

It’s not clear whether Ripley is set to have a one-off intergender match, a series of matches, or just some physical altercations, but it will mark a step away from a WWE policy that has been in place for several years, with interactions between male and female wrestlers very rare after the 'anything goes' on-screen product of the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras.
