Report: Update On WWE's SmackDown Plans For AJ Styles
What could AJ Styles be doing on tonight's SmackDown?
WWE will hold the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown tonight in Des Moines, Iowa and while he isn't advertised to wrestle on the show, AJ Styles will be involved on SmackDown in some capacity.
One of FightFans' sources sent them the phrase "Tick Tock, AJ Styles", which suggests WWE will revisit the issues between the former world champion and Karrion Kross on tonight's SmackDown. Kross and AJ Styles initially had a very short programme ahead of Night of Champions and the TNA legend defeated Kross on the May 27 edition of SmackDown.
Styles was then in action at Night of Champions, losing in the WWE World Heavyweight Title tournament final to Seth Rollins.
Advertised for tonight's episode of SmackDown is Jey Uso having to choose between Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, and four Money in the Bank qualifying matches ahead of the pay-per-view on July 1 in London, England. The qualifiers are Santos Escobar vs. Mustafa Ali, Butch vs. Baron Corbin, Michin vs. Bayley, and Shotzi vs. IYO SKY.
