Report: Vince McMahon Back At WWE HQ

Vince McMahon back at WWE's offices

Vince McMahon continues to cement himself back into WWE.

The 77-year-old returned to WWE in early January, first electing himself and former co-presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson to the Board of Directors on January 5. This move led to three directors being removed from the board, while two more resigned before Stephanie McMahon decided to resign from all of her roles within WWE soon after. The restructured Board of Directors then elected Vince McMahon as Executive Chairman, which was confirmed on January 10.

McMahon is back to pursue a sale of WWE and should any deal fail to be completed, he will be involved in the company's next round of media rights negotiations later this year.

Despite his return, McMahon had remained away from WWE's TV tapings and Titan Towers (the company's headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut) but that has changed in the past week. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Vince was spotted at WWE HQ earlier this week in the first confirmed sighting of him at Titan Towers since his return. If Vince will be backstage at the Royal Rumble is currently unknown.

McMahon previously exited WWE, resigning as CEO and Chairman in July 2022 amidst a sexual misconduct and hush money scandal. The payments McMahon allegedly made in relation to sexual misconduct allegations and Donald Trump's WWE TV appearances remained under investigation by federal prosecutors and the SEC as of last word.
