Report: Vince McMahon 'Does Not See Anything' For Aleister Black And Andrade in WWE
Have we seen the last of the former NXT Champions?
Vince McMahon reportedly 'does not see anything' in former NXT Champions Aleister Black and Andrade.
Neither Black or Andrade have been seen on WWE television since October 2020. Andrade's last outing came in a losing effort to former teammate Angel Garza, while Black has not been utilised since being drafted to Friday Night Smackdown in the 2020 draft.
Both Black and Andrade were two superstars that former Raw Executive Producer Paul Heyman was reportedly keen on building the brand around, but neither has featured highly since his departure from the role in June last year.
And, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE Chairman McMahon simply does not see anything in either superstar.
When asked about Paul Heyman's influence in WWE in regards to helping give superstars opportunities, Meltzer said: "He doesn’t have that kind of power right now. If he had power, yeah, I could see it. But he does not have that power.
"And Vince does not see anything in Aleister Black, or Andrade, or any of those guys that when Heyman lost his position. The only one that ended up not being completely f**ked was Shayna because I guess they like the idea of Shayna and Nia Jax, so she got brought back. But pretty much everybody else, they’re with Bo Dallas in catering."
Meltzer would go on to add that WWE creative genuinely has nothing for Bo Dallas at the moment, hence why he has not been used on television either.
He added: "He’s there [Bo Dallas] and you know how they say ‘creative has nothing for him’? In his case that’s actually true. Usually when people say that it’s something else.
"I don’t know why he’s never been cut, they never use him. But, they didn’t cut him and they cut all of those guys that they cut in April. He’s still there, still got a job. No idea what or why or anything. Big mystery."
