Report: Vince McMahon Doesn't Want The Rock Vs. Roman Reigns To Take Place At WWE WrestleMania 37

WrestleMania 38 beckons...

Reports on the WrestleMania 37 card have started to emerge in recent days. According to WrestleTalk, WWE is hoping The Rock will return and face Roman Reigns at 'Mania, but Big E, Daniel Bryan, Goldberg, and Drew McIntyre have been pitched as contingency opponents. WrestleVotes later reported three headline matches under consideration for The Showcase Of The Immortals are The Big Dog vs. Goldberg, Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee vs. Brock Lesnar, and Edge vs. Randy Orton.

WrestlingNews.co has now reported The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will not take place at next year's 'Mania because Vince McMahon would rather delay the match until WrestleMania 38.

A source within WWE told WrestlingNews.co: "Vince doesn't know how many fans will be allowed to attend the show. He definitely wants fans there and we will probably have to implement social distancing but he would rather wait until WrestleMania 38 if Rock wants to do it but we can't do the show in LA because of Covid. Vince wanted to do the match in LA to capitalise off the extra mainstream media buzz that would come with that match. More media outlets would attend the show because of the location and Vince wants to get as many eyes on Roman as possible."
