Report: Vince McMahon Is The Only Person In WWE Who Didn't Want To Postpone WrestleMania 36

The Boss wields his power...

WrestleMania 36 is only eight days away and will be broadcast from multiple locations on April 4 and April 5. After the coronavirus pandemic forced WWE to move The Showcase Of The Immortals from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida many expected the event to be postponed, and a June 7 date was even touted around.

However, the company announced WrestleMania would still go ahead as Vince McMahon reportedly thought coronavirus measures could go on for most of 2020 and just wanted to get The Show Of Shows out of the way.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported this wasn't a popular opinion inside WWE and that Vince is the only person in the company who didn't think they should postpone Mania. With him being the boss, however, his colleagues had to go along with what he wanted which is why, despite a few changes, the event was taped on March 25 and March 26.

Johnson said: "I can confirm after speaking to dozens of people in the company, I'm talking wrestlers, behind the scenes people, whatever, there is only one person who felt that they should have went forward with WrestleMania and that's why they're going forward with WrestleMania and that's Vince."
