Report: Vince McMahon Loves The Nikki A.S.H Gimmick & WWE Money In The Bank Win Was A 'Thank You'

What a 24 hours it's been for Nikki A.S.H

It has been a wild couple of days for Nikki A.S.H and reports suggest WWE Chairman Vince McMahon absolutely loves the superhero character.

Nikki A.S.H claimed the Women's Money In The Bank briefcase on Sunday's pay-per-view and, just 24 hours later, cashed in to become the new Raw Women's Champion, defeating Charlotte Flair in the final segment of the first Monday Night Raw back in front of live fans.

The 'Almost A Superhero' gimmick was completely created by Nikki Cross herself, who pitched the idea to WWE and has been utilising this current iteration in the past couple of months. According to WrestleNews.co, it's a character that Vince McMahon adores.

The report indicates that Nikki has got a lot of praise backstage in WWE for not only putting in the work to get better in the ring, but showing the initiative to come up with and pitch the character. McMahon, in particular, is said to be proud of Nikki for thinking outside the box.

Her Money In The Bank victory and subsequent Raw Women's Title win is being seen as something of a 'thank you' to Nikki from WWE's upper management for her hard work and creativity.

A source said, per the report: "Vince loves the gimmick and feels that she has opened up a world of opportunities to sell more merchandise and for her to do some community outreach with the kids. She took the initiative and she got rewarded last night.

"She brings a lot to the table and she made herself much more valuable with this superhero gimmick."
