Report: Vince McMahon Orders Last-Minute Changes To Tonight's WWE SmackDown Live

The New Day vs. The O.C.!

Death, taxes, and Vince McMahon ordering a complete re-write of a televised WWE show hours before it's due to hit the airwaves - those are the three certainties in life.

It's happened again ahead of tonight's blue brand show, per a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet: "Hearing from sources that Vince McMahon called in the SmackDown creative team to totally rewrite the show today," Ryan Satin tweeted.

That certainly appears to be the case with no less than two fresh matchups added over the last few hours.

A mammoth champions vs. champions six-man tag will be taking place featuring all three members of The New Day and all three members of The O.C. (Gallows and Anderson won the Raw Tag Team titles on last night's show).

On top of that, Finn Balor will be facing Dolph Ziggler in singles action.

Already scheduled for tonight's show was the return of The King's Court, with Jerry Lawler welcoming WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus to SmackDown Live. The seven-time women's champion will be facing Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam on August 11.
