Vince McMahon is reportedly not keeping WWE superstars in the loop as to their plans at WrestleMania 37 after getting 'upset' over leaks surrounding the main event.

Rumours around 2021 Royal Rumble winner Edge challenging Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Raymond James Stadium began in the days after the Rated-R Superstar's huge win at the end of January, with the WrestleMania main event confirmed during Elimination Chamber last weekend.

Aside from the Universal Championship clash, only Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks for the Smackdown Women's Championship has been confirmed for WWE's flagship event, with the majority of midcard and undercard talent reportedly unsure as to their status for WrestleMania 37.

According to WrestlingNews, the decision to not make superstars aware of their respective 'Mania matches has been made by McMahon himself, after his frustrations at the leaks about the Edge vs. Reigns match.

A source told the outlet: "Vince was upset when word got out that the main event [for WrestleMania] would be Edge and Roman. I think that was the moment when he decided to not clue in the wrestlers on future plans,"

The source would also indicate that there is further upset backstage that the scheduled WrestleMania 37 match putting The Miz and John Morrison against Bad Bunny and Damien Priest has been leaked, as it gives away the short-term plans for The Miz's current WWE Championship reign.
