Report: WarnerMedia Told To Cease All Promotion Of Jeff Hardy

More fallout from Hardy's arrest

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that WarnerMedia was told to stop all advertising of Jeff Hardy, "... in any commercials or anywhere else immediately."

The update comes on the heels of AEW no longer advertising a planned match for Wednesday's Dynamite that was to have included Hardy.

Hardy was supposed to team with brother Matt to face Jurassic Express and The Young Bucks in a three-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team titles on Wednesday's program. However, subsequent posts on AEW's Twitter account promoting Wednesday's card are no longer mentioning the match.

Hardy was arrested on Monday in Florida on several charges, including DUI (his third such arrest in the past ten years, per the arrest report), driving with a suspended or revoked license, and violating restrictions that were placed on the license.

ESPN's Marc Raimondi has since reported that Hardy's breathalyzer test came back more than three and a half times over the legal Florida limit of .08.

AEW has not publicly commented on Hardy's arrest.
