Report: When Asuka Found Out She Was Winning The WWE Raw Women's Championship Revealed

At Money In The Bank, Asuka proved the risk was worth the reward as she reached the roof of Titan Towers and won the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match. 

Fans were looking forward to seeing what The Empress Of Tomorrow would do with the briefcase, but Becky Lynch revealed the Raw Women's Championship was inside the case and not a contract as she relinquished the title to her former rival on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw.  

Mike Johnson reported on PWInsider Elite Audio that Asuka did not know she was winning the championship until she arrived at the tapings yesterday and this is one of the reasons she was so excited during Raw.

Johnson said: "We were told that when WWE filmed the Money In The Bank ladder match in Stamford that Asuka was not aware she was winning the RAW Women’s Championship. She was not aware that was happening until yesterday when she got to the taping. So her reaction while she knew what was going to happen in the segment was legitimately shocked and excitement we were told."
