Report: When WWE 2K23 Will Be Released Revealed

WWE 2K23 coming soon

When WWE 2K23 will be released has been revealed.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the latest WWE 2K game is set to be released sometime in March, with the belief being that interest in the company is at an annual high then due to the build to WrestleMania.

The company recently filmed a commercial for WWE 2K23 in Los Angeles that featured the likes of Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Bad Bunny, and Logan Paul. Meltzer noted the advert is scheduled to air at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 28.

WWE 2K22 was released in March of this year ahead of WrestleMania 38. The series was previously released in Q3 or Q4 ahead of the Christmas period but that came to an end with the disastrous WWE 2K20.

There have been few rumours about WWE 2K23 but what has been reported is that the game won't receive a major overhaul like WWE 2K22. Possible improvements, though, include mid-card singles titles in MyGM and a new pinning system. The development team are also still eager about adding WarGames to the series but there is no word on if that will happen in WWE 2K23.
