As is usual with The Showcase Of The Immortals, WrestleMania 38 featured plenty of pomp and pageantry as several talents, including Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Edge received special entrances.

One special entrance was actually scrapped, though.

Mike J Wilson posted on Instagram an image of men wearing kilts backstage at WrestleMania Saturday, noting they were kilted warriors for Drew McIntyre's entrance but their participation ended up being scrapped.

It was initially believed the entrance was cut for time but Fightful Select have reported that the special entrance was actually nixed by Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior reportedly believed the kilted warriors didn't enhance his entrance and he wanted to connect with the fans inside AT&T Stadium more instead of making his way to the ring in an over the top fashion.

Everyone brought in for the special entrance was still paid and they received all-access passes for The Show Of Shows.

McIntyre faced Happy Corbin at WrestleMania, where he became the first man to kick out of the End Of Days. Irn Dru went on to win the match, pinning the previously undefeated Happy following a Claymore.
