Report: IMPACT Want To Book The Briscoes As Regulars Following Multiverse Of Matches
The Briscoes could be sticking around in IMPACT after Multiverse of Matches
April 1 was a busy days for The Briscoes, with Mark and Jay dropping the ROH World Tag Team Championships to FTR at ROH Supercard of Honor, then tasting defeat at the hands of The Good Brothers at IMPACT Multiverse of Matches.
As seen at Supercard of Honor, The Briscoes’ future in the company with the time looking like they were done with a ‘thank you Briscoes’ chant echoing around the arena as the brothers soaked in the adulation. However a report from PWInsider says there could be a home for ‘Dem Boys’ in IMPACT, with IMPACT fully intending on bringing The Briscoes back and using them as regulars if possible.
Indeed, after their loss to Gallows and Anderson, Jay and Mark Briscoe told IMPACT in a backstage promo that they weren't happy with losing to The Good Brothers and will be back.
Before dropping the ROH Tag Team Titles to FTR, reports had surfaced suggesting that higher ups in Warner Media weren’t keen for AEW/ROH to keep hold of The Briscoes due to past homophobic comments from Jay Briscoe on social media.
