Report: Jon Moxley Working With An Injury

Jon Moxley dealing with an injury

Jon Moxley had a very busy couple of days last week, defeating Jay Lethal on AEW Dynamite in a widely-praised match before the former AEW World Champion had two matches on Thursday, pinning AJ Gray to retain the GCW World Title at Joey Janela's Spring Break 6, and facing Biff Busick at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport.

While you couldn't tell from any of Moxley's matches, The Purveyor Of Violence is actually working with a hamstring injury, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer.

"Moxley by the way has a hamstring injury that he's working on. He worked a couple of times this week on it but he got it. He didn't get it in the ring although may have...I don't know if he hurt it worse in the ring, but I just know he came in, and he got it in training. He'll still be wrestling probably every week and all that but he's nursing the new injury," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio

When Moxley will next be in action on AEW Dynamite remains to be confirmed. The former AEW World Champion has been active on TV in recent weeks, having formed the Blackpool Combat Club with Bryan Danielson and William Regal.
