A popular star was absent from All Elite Wrestling's taping of AEW Rampage on Wednesday night in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

The taping of Rampage that will air on Friday, June 30 saw Johnny TV and QT Marshall pick up a win over Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy. Following the match, Anthony Bowens and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn headed to the ring to make the save for Hardy Party and Ethan Page but Max Caster was noticeably absent when it came to scissoring time with all the babyfaces.

PWInsider has reported that Caster was scheduled to be in the segment on Rampage but he missed the show due to illness. Beyond Wrestling have also announced that Caster will no longer be in action at their Wrestling Open show on Thursday, June 29 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Caster was scheduled to take on former MLW star Richard Holliday.

Caster has regularly worked the Wrestling Open events in Worcester, facing the likes of Kylon King, Dustin Waller, and Johnny Rivera in recent weeks.
