Logan Paul made his WWE in-ring debut on Saturday, teaming with The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38.

Paul impressed many during the match, appearing to be a natural inside the squared circle, and he and The Miz ended up winning the WrestleMania match following a Skull-Crushing Finale to Rey Mysterio from The A-Lister.

The exhibition boxing star wouldn't celebrate his win for long, though, as Miz turned on Paul, taking him out with another Skull-Crushing Finale to a loud reaction from the fans inside AT&T Stadium.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer, Miz turned on Paul because it was negotiated into the social media personality's WrestleMania deal that he would be a babyface when the angle was over.

"Do you know why they did the Logan Paul-Miz thing at the end which we couldn't understand? Because when they made the deal with Logan Paul to do this angle, part of the deal was when the angle is over, 'You're gonna be a babyface.' That was the idea. That was negotiated," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

There are considerable doubts about whether WWE fans will accept Paul as a babyface, though. WWE previously tried to present the 27-year-old as a babyface in a 2021 segment with The Miz but Paul was loudly booed throughout the confrontation, while The Miz was raucously cheered.

Paul was also showered with boos throughout his WrestleMania 38 match.
