Report: Why WWE NXT Talents Have Worked Main Event Revealed

More on WWE NXT talents working Main Event

Outside of NXT, WWE's developmental talents have found opportunities to appear on TV on Main Event in recent months, with NXT wrestlers often being featured on the Hulu show that is taped prior to a live episode of Monday Night Raw. Over the past few months, the likes of Katana Chance, Trick Williams, Duke Hudson, Von Wagner, Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre, and Joe Gacy have all found themselves booked against main roster talent.

According to Fightful Select, WWE have opted to feature NXT wrestlers on Main Event as higher-ups believe "it gives them a more accurate reflection of how a talent would immediately connect with a main roster audience." WWE may not be able to receive the same feedback in NXT as it is usually the same core set of fans at every show. NXT continues to be taped from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Talent on Main Event aren't necessarily being looked at for main roster call-ups, though, Fightful noted, and several talents see working the Hulu show as a reward.
