Josh Alexander has wrestled his last match for TNA ahead of his exit from the promotion, and it seems as though both AEW and WWE will be interested in gaining Alexander’s services.
The former TNA World Champion is set to exit the promotion with the expiration of his contract on February 15, and a report from PWInsider states that the ‘Walking Weapon’ has retained the services of agent Barry Bloom - the man who currently represents the likes of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, amongst others - ahead of expected interest from AEW and WWE.
Alexander’s impending departure has been common knowledge for some time, with Alexander stating in early 2024 that he was to leave TNA after the expiration of his deal and ‘explore free agency’.
Josh Alexander was a part of TNA Wrestling since signing with the promotion in 2019. He ends his run in the company as the longest-reigning TNA World Champion in history, as well as a former X-Division Champion and two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion with The North tag team partner Ethan Page.
