New Orleans Superdome for WWE WrestleMania 30

New Orleans could be set to host WWE WrestleMania for a third time with WrestleMania 42 reportedly set for the ‘Big Easy’.

After hosting WrestleMania XXX, and 34, WrestleVotes reported on X/Twitter that NOLA’s Superdome is once again in the frame to host the show. A follow-up report from Fightful Select suggests that New Orleans has been planned to host Mania XLII ‘for years’, although some within WWE thought plans could change due to the host city of the upcoming WrestleMania XLI having been in flux prior to the official announcement in 2024 that Nevada’s Allegiant Stadium will host Mania 41.

Close to 80,000 fans per night would be expected in the Superdome for WrestleMania 42, with the one night WrestleMania 30 and 34 drawing an announced 75,167 and 78,133 respectively - the latter setting the all-time attendance record for the Superdome.

With the current hot streak WWE are on and the changing of WrestleMania to a two-night event, it’s certainly expected that WrestleMania 42 will smash all sorts of company records, no matter where it is held.
