Report: WWE Backlash 2026 Location Revealed

We have yet to enter the Road To WrestleMania season, but WWE is already reportedly looking ahead to later on in 2026. On the back of WrestleMania often comes the Backlash premium live event, with the show almost always taking the spot on the calendar immediately following WrestleMania. It seems as though we already know where the show is headed for 2026, and it will mean a mega crowd is in store for the show. 

According to John Pollock & Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling, WWE will be returning to Puerto Rico for Backlash 2026, per sources. There is no full date and time confirmed, but the sources have indicated a potential Saturday, May 9 date for the show. Back in 2023, WWE held their first PLE in Puerto Rico for almost two decades when taking over the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, with Backlash proving to be a big success both financially and in terms of quality of the card, with Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest proving to be a significant draw. 

This will be WWE’s first time returning to Puerto Rico since Backlash 2023.
