Report: WWE Believes Renee Paquette Is Headed To AEW

Paquette last worked for WWE in 2020

Renee Paquette (formerly Renee Young in WWE) may be on her way to All Elite Wrestling, based on speculation from some within WWE.

A new report from Fightful Select cites sources within WWE that believe Paquette is headed to AEW. The report notes a recent story from GiveMeSport that claims WWE reached out to Paquette about a possible return, but that story has not been confirmed.

Neither Paquette nor AEW have confirmed this story, either.

Paquette is married to current AEW World champion Jon Moxley, who signed a new five-year deal to remain with the company, which was reported yesterday.

Paquette spent nearly eight years working for WWE, from 2012 to 2020. In her time with the organization, Paquette served in many roles, including backstage interviewer, panel moderator, and commentator. She also hosted the FS1 program WWE Backstage.

Since departing WWE after the 2020 SummerSlam, Paquette started her own podcast called The Sessions, and joined the Cincinnati Bengals broadcast team with a show called Renee All Dey. Paquette also filmed some content for WWE's specials on the A&E network.
