The all-women WWE Evolution premium live event is set to return in Summer 2025, confirming earlier reports.

Fans and wrestlers alike have waited patiently for a follow-up to WWE’s inaugural Evolution PLE in 2018, and a report from WrestleVotes suggests the company are set to run the sequel with an official announcement set to be made before WrestleMania 41 in April.

A report from Bodyslam in early March suggested moves were being made to run Evolution II, with WWE reportedly eyeing up Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun resort complex and a July 5 broadcast date for the show, with Dave Meltzer backing up this initial report.

The first Evolution was a critical success, and marked the first - and to date only - time that WWE ran an all women’s PPV/PLE. The inaugural Evolution was partly believed to be a response to WWE’s then burgeoning Saudi Arabia partnership, with women barred from wrestling in the Gulf State until 2019.

Many within WWE have long advocated for further Evolution events, with Bayley and Natalya just two names who have publicly stated their desire for a follow-up.
