Omos reportedly set for WWE Royal Rumble 2025
Jan 30, 2025
Omos is reportedly set for the WWE Royal Rumble on February 1 after the WWE star’s excursion in Pro Wrestling NOAH came to an end.
Reports from both PWInsider and Fightful Select suggest Omos will be in town for the show in Indianapolis, Indiana, although it is unknown at this point whether he will be an entrant in the 30-man match.
Omos’ recent run in NOAH saw him become one half of the GHC Tag Team Champions with Jack Morris, but Omos recently relinquished his title whilst announcing he was returning to WWE.
Omos’ run in NOAH reportedly impressed those in WWE management both due to his performances and his willingness to go to Japan. The title win was the second of Omos’ career, having previously reigned as Raw Tag Team Champion with AJ Styles in 2021.
If Omos does compete in the Royal Rumble then it’ll be his fourth appearance in the match, having previously competed in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 editions. It’s no secret that Omos is 7’3” and over 400 lbs.
