Omos has been absent from WWE programming since April 2024, last competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on an episode of SmackDown. It was reported that WWE had ‘given up’ on Omos, leading to him being taken off TV and not even used on live events.

2025 saw Omos arrive in Pro Wrestling NOAH, quickly picking up the GHC Tag Team Championship alongside Jack Morris. After competing regularly throughout the month of January, it looks as though Omos is stepping away from Japan for the time being. He relinquished the GHC Tag Team Championship on Saturday in Osaka, handing the gold over to fellow Team 2000X stablemate Daga, announcing that he would be returning to WWE, implying that WWE have no longer simply ‘given up’ on the giant.

Omos has plenty of fans within the wrestling world, with The Undertaker predicting a very bright future for Omos as a star in the business. During his WWE absence, Omos took to YouTube to rank fragrances. It remains to be seen if the ‘Fragrance King’ gimmick will make its way to WWE programming.
