Report: WWE Building Jaxson Ryker As A Babyface

Ryker debuted a new look this past week on Raw

WWE is reportedly building Jaxson Ryker as a babyface after switching him on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw.

Ryker and Elias split last week when Elias walked out on his tag team partner in a Raw Tag Team Championship match against AJ Styles and Omos, leading to a match between the duo on this week's show.

Elias, conducting an in-ring performance, was attacked by Ryker, who was sporting a new look including a trimmed down beard and significantly shorter haircut.

Ryker was booked to look the stronger and more dominant competitor in the singles bout, eventually winning by count-out after Elias decided he'd had enough and walked out of the arena, and PWInsider have confirmed that WWE have switched Ryker to the babyface side of the roster.

The 39-year-old joined WWE in 2017, initially becoming a member of The Forgotten Sons along with Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake. He moved up to the main roster in 2020, initially featuring on SmackDown, before he individually moved over to Raw at the end of last year.
