Plans for Alexa Bliss to make her return to WWE have reportedly been cancelled.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE creative have been told to put their plans for Alexa Bliss on hold indefinitely.
Dave Meltzer has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bliss and WWE are currently working on a deal for a new contract but the two sides have yet to agree to terms. PWN reported on January 11 that creative plans for Bliss had been put on hold due to contractual discussions.
Plans were in place for Bliss to return on the January 13 episode of Monday Night Raw in San Jose, California as part of a storyline involving the Wyatt Sicks, PWInsider noted. Just before the show, however, creative was told to drop all plans for the former Raw Women's Champion. Bliss is also not planned to be a part of the Women's Royal Rumble Match.
The Wyatt Sicks have since been shifted to Friday Night SmackDown, which was announced on the January 13 edition of Raw. Future creative plans for the faction will be moving forward without Bliss being factored in.
Alexa Bliss has been gone from WWE since January 2023 and she underwent skin cancer removal soon after. Bliss gave birth to a daughter in November 2023 and she later suffered from postpartum health complications.
