Report: WWE Clash In Paris Planned For August 31
WWE PPV planned for Paris, France
Jan 29, 2025
WWE will be holding a premium live event/pay-per-view in Paris to end the Summer of 2025.
WrestleVotes has reported that WWE are set to announce 'Clash in Paris', a pay-per-view that will emanate from the Paris La Défense Arena in Paris, France on Sunday, August 31. A URL has already been created on WWE.com to announce the pay-per-view but the page is currently blank.
WWE President Nick Khan announced earlier this year that WWE would be holding a premium live event in Paris in 2025. The company held their first-ever pay-per-view in France in 2024 as Backlash aired from the LDLC Arena in Lyon. The show was widely praised, particularly the raucous French crowd.
The Paris La Défense Arena is the largest indoor arena in Europe with a capacity of 30,000 to 40,000 depending on the event. The venue primarily hosts home games for rugby union's Racing 92 side.
WWE have held several pay-per-views outside of North America in recent years, airing shows from the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.
UPDATE: Since publication, WWE have officially announced that Clash in Paris will emanate from La Défense Arena on Sunday, August 31. Raw will then take place at the same venue on September 1.
