Report: WWE Close Down Talent Management Group

The division reportedly only lasted a few weeks

WWE has reportedly already closed down the Talent Management Group, which they heavily advertised upon its launch last year.

The promotion proudly unveiled the Talent Management Group in November 2020 and planned to utilise the individuals hired to represent WWE talent in their bookings on third-party projects, such as movies, television appearances and sponsorship deals.

The company said: "WWE Talent Management Group will deliver best-in-class 360-degree support of Talent across all internal lines of business and key external partners, amplifying Talent brand value and maximizing monetization opportunities for Talent and WWE."

However, according to PWInsider, the initiative has already been brought to an end within WWE and, in truth, did not last particularly long at all.

The report notes that the decision to shut down the division was made a few weeks ago and that, in truth, the Talent Management Group was only really a thing within WWE for around five weeks.

The promotion had been advertising positions with the Talent Management Group on the careers page of their corporate website, but those listings are now no longer visible.
