Could one of WWE's tag teams be set to split?

As opposed to capturing tag team gold, the prevalent narrative around The Street Profits has been fans guessing when the team of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will split up, with a separation having been teased on WWE TV, especially after The Street Profits failed to defeat The Usos in the summer of 2022.

The tag team have remained together until now but Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford going their separate ways "has been talked about." If WWE plan to turn those discussions into a concrete plan is currently unknown.

Ford and Angelo Dawkins were both in singles action on the February 6 edition of Monday Night Raw. Ford defeated Elias to qualify for the United States Title Elimination Chamber Match, while Angelo Dawkins failed in his quest to earn a spot in the bout, losing to Damian Priest.

WWE considered splitting up the tag team in the 2021 WWE Draft but opted to keep them together on that occasion. It was then noted in July 2022 that WWE want to push Montez Ford as a singles talent.
