Fears over the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view emerged on Tuesday following a Wall Street Journal report which revealed that Saudi Arabia had shared intelligence with the United States about a possible imminent attack from Iran. Saudi Arabia, the United States and other allies have since raised their alert levels and the White House National Security Council announced they would not hesitate to act in the defence of their interests and partners in the Middle East.

News of a potential imminent attack from Iran comes ahead of WWE's Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Riyadh on Saturday, November 5 but the show is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. WWE reportedly already have security protocols and emergency contingency plans in place in case of any issues and the company are hopeful all will be fine.

The Crown Jewel pay-per-view is set to feature multiple major matches including Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley, and Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
