WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 was broadcast from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida last night. There was much uncertainty heading into the pay-per-view, though, as the Raw Women's Championship match between Asuka and Lacey Evans was in doubt following The Sassy Southern Belle's pregnancy announcement and Keith Lee's status for the United States Title match had been unclear for much of last week.

The Raw Women's Championship match and The Limitless One were eventually pulled from the pay-per-view at the 11th hour and reports from Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer and Wrestling Inc's Raj Giri noted WWE finalised the card at the last minute.

Following the announcement that Lacey Evans had been pulled from Elimination Chamber, WWE didn't make a final decision on if Asuka would be in action until after 11:30 pm GMT, according to Giri. The Empress Of Tomorrow ultimately didn't wrestle on the show and only five matches took place on the main card instead.

In regards to the remainder of the card, Meltzer noted only three matches were 100 percent going ahead as of Sunday afternoon GMT and the company was still figuring out what to do on the show as of 8:30 pm GMT.
