Report: WWE Expected To Sign New Tag Team

WWE's rebuild of their tag team division continues and the company are expected to sign a new duo.

Fightful Select has reported that the expectation within WWE is The Dropouts are joining the company. This comes after the team of The Tuckman and Scott Green finished up on the Australian independent wrestling scene and The Tuckman has been vacating his singles championships.

The Dropouts have been teaming together on the Australian indies since 2023 and they took part in a WWE tryout earlier this year. The Tuckman also worked an ROH taping while AEW/ROH were in Australia, with Tuckman losing to Mark Davis in February 2026.

The Tuckman has gone viral due to his entrance where he makes his way to the ring to 'Chelsea Dagger' by The Fratellis.

The Dropouts joining WWE comes after several tag teams were released following WrestleMania 42, including The New Day, Motor City Machine Guns, and Wyatt Sicks. A tag team set to sign with WWE, though, is Enzo Amore & Big Cass, with Big Bill having given his notice to All Elite Wrestling.

Other wrestlers expected to join WWE include Hiromu Takahashi, Richard Holliday, and Baron Corbin.
