TNA Re-Signs Rich Swann

Former TNA World Champion Rich Swann has re-signed with the promotion. The exact terms of Swann's new deal and how long he is under contract with TNA are currently unknown.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Swann explained why he put pen to paper on a new contract with TNA:

"I really believe in this company. I feel great. I feel like right now TNA is at the spot that it needs to be. We're killing it every Thursday night. And I'm just happy to be a part of that. I've been a part of IMPACT Wrestling and TNA since 2018. And to have this freaking spot, it just feels awesome. I really believe in this company, from the X division to its tag division to its KO division."

Swann has also been aligned with BDE in 2026, which was another motivation behind him signing a new deal.

"I want to see my man's career through. I want to see him reach the heights that I know he can reach. TNA has always been the spot to show fresh faces and to give fresh faces the opportunity and the platform to really shine and to show what they've been working on. And I've seen what BDE been cooking up, as the kids say. And I just want to be a part of that," Swann added.

Rich Swann has been a part of TNA Wrestling across multiple runs since 2018. He previously reigned as TNA World Champion for 183 days from October 2020 until April 2021.

Swann departed TNA when his contract expired at the end of 2024, but the 35-year-old returned to the company in July 2025, rejoining the First Class faction. Swann turned on AJ Francis at Final Resolution, though, and they ended their feud with one win apiece, with Francis defeating the former TNA World Champion at Genesis 2026, while Swann levelled the series in a No Holds Barred Match on the January 29 episode of Thursday Night IMPACT.

Since then, Swann has been a utility player for TNA, unsuccessfully challenging for the TNA World Championship and the TNA International Title, while he recently lost a six-way to become number one contender for the X-Division Title.
