Report: WWE Has Discussed Bringing Back Karrion Kross

Could the former NXT champ return?

WWE has reportedly discussed the possibility of bringing back Karrion Kross (or Killer Kross), according to a new report from Fightful Select.

The report claims that Kross has, "... been discussed as a name of interest for WWE to bring back to the company." Fightful goes on to say that several in the wrestling industry expect Kross to return to WWE, with one source indicating a belief that Kross is already in WWE's plans (though Fightful has not confirmed that part).

After nearly two years with WWE, Kross was released from the company last November, along with wife Scarlett Bordeaux. The two had been an act on NXT, where Kross twice held the NXT championship.

Kross was promoted to WWE's main roster last July, where he lost a brief match to Jeff Hardy. The booking (as well as subsequent costume changes) earned criticism from fans and journalists alike.

Kross recently appeared at JCP's Ric Flair's Last Match pay-per-view, defeating Davey Boy Smith Jr in the undercard. In recent months, Kross had made appearances for MLW and on NJPW Strong, as well as for several high-profile indies.
