Report: WWE Has Made A "Big Effort" To Re-Sign Kairi Sane

Monday was reportedly her final date with the company...

Earlier this week, Mike Johnson at PWInsider noted Monday's Raw tapings would be Kairi Sane's final date with WWE. The Kabuki Warrior reportedly ended her run in the company on good terms and she will remain a part of the wrestling behemoth's extended family after she returns to Japan to be with her husband.

Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful Select reported yesterday that Sane will appear on next week's edition of Raw as the episode was also taped on July 20. While there was no word on Kairi's exact role on the show, the company reportedly planned to have either Natalya or Shayna Baszler attack her at the tapings to write her off TV, but the angle may have been scrapped during rewrites.

Sapp also revealed WWE has made a "big effort" to re-sign The Pirate Princess and pitched several roles to keep her with the company including working as an ambassador or trainer.

Whether or not she signed a new deal with the company is currently unknown but Alex McCarthy at talkSPORT previously noted WWE would offer her "better money than she could get anywhere else."
